Harbour is operated by Harbour Hubs Community CIC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using Harbour you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Harbour offers an optional AI reflection tool inspired by therapeutic approaches. Companions are AI, not historical people, licensed therapists or emergency responders. They may make mistakes and cannot reliably assess risk. No human monitoring, clinical validation or professional-body compliance is promised.
The tool does not provide diagnosis, treatment or emergency intervention. Regulatory classification depends on intended use and functionality and requires qualified human review; these terms do not declare a legal medical-device outcome.
Harbour Hubs Community CIC is based in Portsmouth and is not officially affiliated with the MOD or Royal Navy. Physical hubs, peer mentoring, subsidised counselling and an operating recruited network remain developing ambitions unless separately confirmed.
You must be at least 18 to use the companion. New registrations require explicit adult self-confirmation on the server. This is not independent age verification. Older account holders are not silently locked out; older installed builds may need updating to register.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must not share your account with others or use another person’s account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Harbour’s consumer AI Companion features are provided without a subscription. All companion approaches, persistent memory, mood tools, and journal features are available to signed-in users. Reasonable message and request limits may be applied to protect service availability and prevent abuse; these limits do not unlock through payment.
If you previously started a consumer Companion subscription, it may continue billing until cancelled. You can manage or cancel it from the Billing tab shown in Account settings, and cancelling does not remove access to any consumer Companion feature.
Therapist session fees are charged separately at the rate agreed between you and your chosen therapist and are also processed via Stripe.
Professional subscriptions and session arrangements are separate from free consumer access. An implemented professional portal does not establish an operating network. Public listing requires a recorded independent human registration check and approval; entering a number does not verify credentials. Professional terms, record responsibilities, complaints handling and any booking service require owner review before launch.
Optional bank-transfer donations can be made using the instructions behind the Support Harbour button. Transfers are completed through your own bank, not this website, and Harbour does not automatically verify or acknowledge them. Check the payee name before sending; contact Harbour if your bank reports a mismatch. For transfer queries or refund requests, contact admin@harbourhubs.com. Card donation checkout remains unavailable. Support Harbour options concern developing activities; no Gift Aid eligibility is claimed.
AI messages and remembered context are processed by an AI provider. Eligible user messages and generated summaries may remain as memories; mood and journal records can also be retained. See the Privacy Policy for controls and actual export/deletion coverage.
Account deletion does not automatically erase financial, professional clinical, safeguarding or audit records, provider copies or backups. These require restricted human retention review and separate handling. Submitting a request is not confirmation of erasure.
You agree not to:
All content, design, and code within Harbour is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without our written permission. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as journal entries or messages) but grant us a licence to process it in order to provide the service.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of Harbour. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid us during that period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
We may update these Terms. Material-change notification arrangements and these terms, including liability and professional-service provisions, require qualified owner review before release. No automated advance-notification schedule is implemented.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
For any questions about these Terms, please email admin@harbourhubs.com.
